A Detroit, Michigan native at heart, Brienne has called New York City home for the past 18 years. Drawing inspiration from the cities dynamic art scene, she began her work as an artist and designer at just 18 years old for brands such as; Cosmo Girl Magazine, Baby Phat, Converse, DC Shoes, DevaCurl, Natural Babe Hair and McDonalds. It was her work as a footwear designer in China in 2009 that developed her insatiable love for travel. Since then, she has visited over 35 countries as an artist, designer and writer. Brienne's passion for illustration can be attributed to her 7 year old daughter, Belle. “I draw for her now, so that she can see herself in beautiful drawings.
